Coffee

The botanist Carlo Linneo classified coffee the rubiaceae's family which groups 4500 varieties of plants among which 60 species belonging to the genus coffea. Of about approximately 60 existing species of coffee plants only 25 are marketed for fruits. Only the first four of these have a prominent place in the coffee beans trade: the Arabica Coffea, the Robusta Coffea, the Liberica Coffea and the Excelsa Coffea.
